3 birthdays and 3 weeding !

It all comes to and end today ……..

Two weeks of nonstop birthday parties, parties and after parties comes to an end ……….. [ Visually depicted below ]

Getting sloshed, hammered ……. Drunk , to ingesting every substance known to science ……..getting lost in the middle of the night …. falling from a moving car, followed by sitting quietly through every meeting , wishing the day comes to an end ……..to collapsing in the boardroom at 11 am because of still being drunk from the previous night….. to winning a pitch without creative – phew !….wearing formal clothes for a ‘change’ only to lose them afterwards ! …. Temporarily losing my car …. Managing to lose my credit cards twice in 15 days to feeling perpetually numb in the head for a fortnight.  Screaming ,singing … dancing . walking out of the pub with a glass , and I’m told a bottle too …. Waking up and not remembering the previous evening, on a couple of occasion , wondering why the guest rooms are full, with my friends every other morning, to then hoping they don’t trash my new house !

To blowing up truck loads of cash on the new house, alcohol, garden, gifts and other inane crock !

For being stupid enough to not realize it’s fever and not just a ‘hangover’ effect.

feeling ALIVE YET  Living in oblivion for a fortnight because of a long suspenssion of senses …………….. but somehow still going for a 5 mile run everyday  :P

What You’ve Got Determines What You Get

It’s true, in every sense, like it or not.

What you’ve got – Inherited wealth, money, legacy and entitlement determine what an individual will make of his life, his comforts, and act as a launching pad and impact  what he will get, or should I say what he makes of what he’s already got will go a long way in ensuring what he wants to get.

But ….

What you’ve got inside of you – substance, wit, knowledge and intelligence also goes a long way in determining what you get out of life.

So don’t just focus on what you want to get, which more often than not is external, rather you should focus on what you have inside, build that up for it determines everything external, whether you will still long for it or not, after you’re content inside, is a separate story altogether
